Application:
MP resins are binders resistant to
hydrolysis. They can be used for anti-corrosion coatings, for
Coating on galvanized steel, other
non-ferrous metals, concrete, fiber cement, for road marking
Paints, flame-retardant coatings on
non-flammable building materials, printing inks, marine and container paints.
They are compatible with most alkyd resins, dry oils, polyacrylic resins,
liquid epoxy resins, tars and bitumens.
MP resins offer advantages to both
manufactures and users and users of coatings:
(1) Broad choice of solvents,
particularly budget-priced blends of aromatic and aliphatic haydrocarbons
(2) Good compatibility with other
coatings raw materials
(3) Good pigment binding capacity
even at high solids
(4) Unrestricted choice of pigments
and extenders
(5) Easy application by all common
techniques, no cob-webbing even at high solids
(6) Thermal stability allows force
drying
(7) Good adhesion on iron, steel
and many unrelated coating systems, good interrcoat adhesion
(8) Good resistance of properly
formulated coatings to aqueous alkalis and acids,salt solutions, to stress from
water, humiditly changes, low and cyslic temperatures well as to chalking and
yellowing
(9) Long lasting corrosion
protection even under extreme outdoor conditions
Packaging and Storage:
20kgs woven bag with PE liner, MP resins
can be stored for 2 years if kept away from heat and moisture.
